About Us
Sage Education Consulting was founded by company President, Lisa Panka. Lisa spent many years as a preschool and elementary teacher, so she has a deep understanding of school, teacher, and student needs.
In her 25+ years in publishing and edtech, Lisa has done everything from writing content to building departments from scratch. Lisa understands the industry and how curriculum is developed. She has served on senior leadership teams, helping to shape companies’ futures and ensure success and stability in a changing industry. She understands the financial, resource, process, and schedule challenges that companies in the industry face every day.
Lisa has a BA in elementary education and psychology and an MA in elementary education administration. In her free time, Lisa enjoys going to concerts, traveling, checking out local breweries, and going to Chicago Bears, Cubs, and Blackhawks games.
